get started, you must first Create
a New Data Display. This is simply a matter of starting a new display
or copying an existing design.Database Oasis comes with a selection of displays already installed to help get you started, but chances are, you are going to want to create your own displays that have been customized to the information you need to work with. Displays are created in the display designer. The designer provides a visual representation of your display and allows you to place and move objects to build your screen.
Use the following outline when creating your display:
To

Take
a moment to familiarize yourself with the Display
Designer Screen.
Displays
are created at a default size with the buttons you will use to work with
your records placed at the bottom of the screen. You can Working
with Displays in the Designer to change the size of the display or
customize the buttons.
Once
your display looks the way you want, you are ready to start Adding
Objects to the Display.
As
you place objects on the display, you will need to know how to Work
With Objects on the Display so you can adjust their size and position
on the screen.
Once
you've added all of your fields to the display, you may want to control
the order you will move through the fields when entering data by Setting
the Tab Order.
When
everything looks the way you want, you can Save
Your Work and Exit the Designer.
As
you start to work with your record, you may discover that you need to
Edit the Displays. Fortunately, it
is very to make changes at any time.
